Terms and Conditions

Buy now, pay over time

RETURN POLICY

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and allow a 48 hour approval period from when you receive the instrument.

In the case that you are not happy with your instrument please contact us within this period for a RA.  Please note, all returns must be accompanied by a RA issued within 48 hrs from our staff. In the event of a return, the buyer will be responsible for shipping costs.

To ensure the safety of our instruments, we ask that the guitar is packed as it was shipped to you, or equally well.

The instrument itself must be returned in original condition, as it was shipped. This includes all hang tags, certificates and warranty cards.

The condition of the instrument is the buyer's responsibility up until inspection of returned instrument.  In other words, until we physically receive the instrument back and evaluate the condition, any costs associated with wear and tear or damage is the buyer’s.  Please pack well and insure the instrument.  Once inspected and evaluated, and the guitar is deemed in “original condition” we will initiate the refund process. If the condition of the guitar is deemed different from original the buyer may be subject to a restocking fee up to 25% of the purchase price.

Please keep in mind, credit card refunds typically take 3-4 business days to show up on your account once initiated. Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding returns or exchanges.

CUSTOM ORDER RETURN POLICY

Our goal is to build your new #1 guitar... the one that you want to play all the time… your favorite. We strive to exceed expectations and will work closely with customers to build the instrument of their dreams. We are happy to make adjustments and tweaks, within reason, even after the initial delivery. For example, if you don’t like the pickups, we can switch them out. Just pay shipping and any additional costs if applicable.

Due to the unique nature of custom orders and the effort we put into the build we do not take returns for custom ordered instruments.

DAMAGE CLAIMS

Sometimes, despite our best efforts,  instruments are mishandled in shipping and suffer damage.   This is just as much a bummer for us as for the customer.  However, we’re here to help. If this happens, there are a few simple things you can do to help us amend the situation:

  • Take and send us pictures of the box, displaying all sides.
  • Take close up photos of damage to the box and to the instrument.
  • A brief description about what you noticed upon opening the package.

We will send you a return shipping label to have the guitar shipped back to us, and we will work with you to either find a replacement or issue a full refund in the form of your original payment method.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

C.R. Alsip, LLC. warrants this C.R. Alsip brand instrument to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as it is owned by the original retail purchaser, except that pickups, switches, jacks, controls, all other electronic components, tuning machines, hardware, pickguards, plated surfaces, gig bags, cases and case hardware are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser when this instrument is purchased from an Authorized C.R. Alsip Dealer and is subject to the limitations set forth herein. IMPORTANT: PLEASE RETAIN YOUR ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT, AS IT IS YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE VALIDATING THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

C.R. Alsip has established a network of independent Authorized C.R. Alsip Service Centers for warranty service. The C.R. Alsip Dealer from whom you purchased your instrument may also be authorized for warranty service and should be the first point of contact when service of any kind is required for your C.R. Alsip instrument. To receive warranty service, return the complete instrument to an Authorized C.R. Alsip Service Center, with your sales receipt as proof of purchase, during the applicable warranty period. Defective components that qualify for coverage under this warranty will be repaired or replaced (at C.R. Alsip's discretion) without charge. Remedies beyond normal service repair of any C.R. Alsip instrument require both an evaluation and confirmation of the defect and a direct recommendation to C.R. Alsip from an Authorized C.R. Alsip Service Center for alternative considerations.

All transportation, insurance and freight charges associated with warranty service and repairs on C.R. Alsip instruments are the responsibility of the purchaser, as is any service initiated for the purpose of customizing setups or adjustments beyond factory specifications. Initial standard setup and adjustment of the instrument and its components at the time of purchase are considered normal Dealer product preparation and are not covered by this warranty.
